PaperArtsy challenge #5

This is my second entry for the PaperArtsy Art Doll challenge

I made a 3D art doll but I also wanted to put one in my envelope journal I made especially for the PA blog challenge.

I had in my mind that a tag would make a great body for an art doll. So I used the large tag stamp from EEG12 on some card stock that I had taken a ghost print from a gelli plate. And added the Tim Holtz heart stamp.
The background was done using dylusions sprays which I added by painting them on rather than spraying as I didn’t want to get the ink on other pages. And added some background stamp in with a Kaiser Kraft stamp and a boarder using one of the boarder stamps on EEG07.

Next I added the legs and arms using another of the boarder stamps on EEG07.

I was a bit stuck on what to do for the head of my art doll. I knew I wanted it to contrast with the background and work together with the heart so I used the smaller circle stamp from EEG15 and coloured it in using different blue paints and pens. And kept the facial features very minimal.
My doll still needed more so I added some hair, which is the inside wires of some old earphones. And a bow. Just to tie in the arms and legs a bit more.
