Mono Printing

One of my things I love to do is to cover cheap notebooks so that they are original one offs. And you can never have too many note books!!! 

I started by using my gelli plate and some paints (daler Rowney phthalo turquoise, fluorescent pink and PaperArtsy Bora Bora), bubble wrap, prima Finnabair brush that has a silicone tool on the other end, aome punchinella and a brayer to create a back ground full of textures. 

Fixed this onto my cheapo notebook added some washi tape to the edges. Also added some stamping using a hand carved triangle stamp and a Tim Holtz stamp. And finished by doing some doodling using a sharpie paint pen.
